Currently, three people are working on the project as the production team.
Anne Sikking (she/her)- originator

Scot-First Nations, Anne is the originator of OILCAN-the musical, a co-founder and inaugural Chair of Glasgow's City of Poets, a twice appointed poet laureate, and a published writer of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry.
"Even before we are born, our first sensation is the beating of another's heart. Not only are we all born poets, poetry has the capacity to unite our Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, and Spiritual selves. To be a poet is our birthright."
Scott Kames (he/him)- dramaturg

A Scot, and a Glasgow-based artist, theatre-maker, and creative facilitator Scott has a passion for storytelling, performance, and community engagement. With a background in theatre, filmmaking, and event coordination, his work spans children’s drama clubs, site-specific performances, and interactive workshops that help people connect with their environment, heritage, and community.
Spencer Mason (they/them) - composer

Scot, sound Designer /Composer /Producer /Lyricist, among Spencer's many musical credits are: Sound Engineer and Composer for Field Rambles Podcast, Field Press; Sound Design & Composer for Taboo (August 2021); Yinka Ilori’s Listening to Joy/Turn It Up (Feb 2022, (V&A Dundee). Composition & Production for The Raven (April 2022, Hidden Route in association with Wonderfools). A debut album was supported by Help Musicians’ Do It Yourself grant. Spit it Out & Hidden Door festivals (2023). Audio Production (Field Ramble, Episodes 1-12).
SP SQUARE CIC

OILCAN the musical currently nests within SP SQUARE CIC, a community interest company registered in Scotland.
