ARCHIVE CHEST OPENS SOON!!!

OILCAN is written about Scotland, by Scotland. So whoever you are, as long as you have a connection to Scotland and something to say, you can contribute!

The ARCHIVE CHEST exists for anyone interested in submitting a piece of writing (dramatic text, song, poem, monologue, reflection etc) without being involved in any other way.

It is a collection of texts/music/ideas which may influence and inspire the CREATIVE TEAMS. They may even be used verbatim within the finished musical.

For any questions or to enquire about submitting earlier, please contact Scott Kames at production.oilcan@gmail.com

Terms and Conditions

Anything submitted may be used within the musical at the discretion of the CREATIVE TEAM. Where it is used, it may be edited, adapted, or manipulated at the discretion of the CREATIVE TEAMS.

Appropriate credit, payment, ownership/rights will be given under the guidance of our legal team at Harper Macleod LLP alongside guidance from industry unions including The Writers' Guild of Great Britain.

More details and guidance will be given on this before the ARCHIVE CHEST opens for submissions.
